Comments: The number of A's and B's is good. I think the number of D's is way too high but I'm not going to inflate your grade. It is clear that some people need to devote more time to their studies.

On your test paper there is a blue number. This is your accumulated points to date. (You have a possible 7 homework points and 40 test points.) This is out of a possible 47 points. You may convert your points to a percentage by dividing your points by 47 and multiply by 100.

Average = 32.37 points out of 47 (68.88%)
median = 32.14 points (68.38%)
stdev = 5.8 points (12.3%)

If grades would be given at this midpoint, the following scale would be used:

A: 38.01 points and higher (15)
B: 32.25 to 38.00 (30)
C: 26.45 to 32.24 (31)
D: 20.65 to 26.44 (15)
F: 20.64 and lower (1)

If you are in the D/F range you should expect to receive a midterm grade report.

You should work on the problems, then check your score. Then go back and figure out why you got an answer wrong. (Also, if you knew you were only guessing on a problem, figure out why it is correct.)

*4-no, it is not D. If the price of getwids falls, the quantity demanded will increase, but we don't say demand increases. This is a movement along a demand curve, not a change in the position of the demand curve. So B is NOT one of the answers. But C is, since you are told the two goods are substitutes.

**34--yes, another tough one. But think about it. You need to think arithmetically. The insight is in the math.
